Awesome MUSEUM QUALITY HUGE Minty Grassy Green to Minty Bluish Green Emerald Trapiche & Cat's-Eye Cabbing Rough from Colombia. This was purchased on our recent trip to Colombia and represents one of the best Trapiche Roughs we purchased while there. It is important to note that much of this material is VERY HEAVILY Chatoyant and I'm confident the largest of the four sections in the first picture will produce the most profound SHARP Cat's-Eye Emerald if you decide to pursue such; however, the stone itself would also make a killer pair of Trapiches. The Trapiche is not complete; however, this piece would lend itself well to a symmetrical pair of stones that would be ideal for a jewelry project. The depth of the stone itself indicates it is suited well for a pair of stones instead of a single stone.

Personally, I think I would go for a the Cat's-Eyes in the piece myself as they are a fortune to buy cut when in the few carat size range if the clarity is high. This piece will produce stones that are practically eye-clean or better with the exception of the Chatoyancy if you aim to cut Cat's-Eye finished stones!

This HAS to be seen to be truly appreciated as the pictures do not do it justice! The stone was sold to us as being natural AT THE MINES IN MUZO and we are confident it is; however, we haven't tested it. Don't miss your chance to pick this up as we are confident you will regret it!!
