DESCRIPTION: |
Lot of mostly Minty Green Emerald from Laghman, Afghanistan. We unfortunately don't have a Chelsea Filter readily available; however, we are confident that this material is chromium colored though it may not show up under a Chelsea Filter due to the amount of Chromium. Since we don't have the equipment necessary to confirm this we can't guarantee it is Chromium colored. This material is referred to as Emerald in Pakistan and that is what it was sent to us as; however, we would call it Chrome Beryl due to the depth of color in the rough. Since we don't know the coloring agent we aren't calling it Chrome Beryl. The lot overall is a steal at our price and that is due to the great price we got on it as a sample. We would say that roughly 15% of this lot is some type of facet grade with some nice larger stones in here that look as though they will produce eye-clean to slightly included in the 1+ carat or under range. This is the only parcel of this material we have and it was sent to us as a sample. It was discounted due to its sample status and we are selling it likewise. We have seen some of the cleaner stones in this lot sell for $6-$10.00+ per carat and I don't think there is any way you can go wrong picking this up. This is another lot that would be a great Ebay money maker for those interested in reselling this broken up. |
