Awesome New Find of what has tentatively been identified as a Baby Blue Diopside! We haven't done the testing ourselves and therefore can't ascertain for sure what this is. We initially thought this possibly was Afghanite or Blue Garnet (Because of the crystal structure of the latter and the Color of the former). We don't know the exact area this is coming from but we are concluding Badakshan, Afghanistan because of the seller of the material and the area he is known to frequent. Overall the lot is moderately to heavily included and this is not a lot you would pick up for cutting. Most of the stones in here look like they are crystals and some faces are visible. In addition, a pronounced cleavage also seems evident. This is an odd lot we had hanging around and are just moving it along to the lucky winner.
