Awesome Lot of Chunky Golden Yellow to Pastel Golden Yellow Citrine Faceting Rough from Tanzania. This material was sold to us mixed into a large Scapolite parcel that we purchased some time ago and we removed these stones as not being Scapolite due to color banding and/or crystal structure typically associated with the stone. Overall this material is a little on the light side; however, this is some exceptionally clean material with roughly 85%+ of the parcel being Top Facet Grade in large sizes. Please note that the largest stone in here does NOT look like Citrine and we would not be surprised if it was either Heliodor or Scapolite. The largest stone is EXCEPTIONALLY clean and should easily be worth the price of the lot or more (particularly if it were either Heliodor or Scapolite). The average stone weight on this lot is running roughly 28+ carats and this is some great material for practicing those new designs! Folks, this material is 100% NATURAL and NOT SAWED unlike much of the treated and sawed material that is available in the market. This is our ONLY Lot of this material and we don't anticipate on getting more of it in so don't miss out on this lot. |
