Awesome Lot of Golden Yellow to Santa Maria Blue Aquamarine Faceting & Cabbing Rough from Mozambique. Overall the lot is running roughly 60% Medium to High Facet Grade with many stones having some inclusions that will need to be worked around to produce the cleanest stones possible. Several stones will need to be divided to get them eye-clean! The remaining 40% is a mixture of Cabbing Rough and possibly some additional Faceting Rough that will need to be cobbed or sawed out.

The lot really is a mix of the whole spectrum that Aquamarine is found in as far as color goes along with a few pieces that would probably more rightly be called Goshenite and/or Heliodor. We are just liquidating our remaining Aquamarine to make room for incoming rough shipments lined up for the next few months. We are blowing this out at $.50 Per Carat!!! How can you go wrong at $.50 Per CARAT???

1. Aquamarine mining in Mozambique has been extremely limited as most miners have migrated over to Mavuco in search of Paraiba Tourmaline. Most of the mining activity in Mozambique has shifted over to Mavuco as Paraiba prices continue to climb. We don't know how long it will be before we see a steady supply of Aquamarine coming from Mozambique again; however, the prices don't seem to want to come down.
