Ultra-Rare Pakistani Anatase Rough Lot. Overall this parcel is largely comprised of Specimen caliber Anatase Crystals with many being partially terminated. If you do a quick look on the web you will see what single crystals of this material cost. We picked this up as an oddity. Overall the material is running about 33% or so Facet Grade; however, the material is being sold as Specimen Grade and should be purchased as such. Sub-Carat cut stones are selling for several hundred dollars per carat and our price on this is unbelievably low. It just takes one cut stone to break even on the parcel! Please note that this material is NOT for the faint of heart as far as faceting goes. ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE? This material makes cutting Fluorite and Kunzite look EASY! We tried to cob a few pieces and had them just shatter because of the strong cleavage on the material. We don't have any more of this so get it before someone else does! |
