Lovely Lot of Zambian Amethyst Faceting Rough running from a Medium Purple to a Siberian Purple acquired on our recent trip to East Africa. The lot as a whole is running roughly 70%+ High to Top Facet Grade. Most stones are chunky crystal sections and many show partial terminations. These are NOT small pieces and the average weight per stone is 21 or so Carats! We are confident you will take out some spectacular stones from this parcel!Please note that due to the size of this rough and the volume of rough we receive, we have not cobbed and cleaned this material to get all the stones eye-clean. A significant percentage of the stones in this lot do have some minor inclusions and veils at the least; however, there is a nice eye-clean or better gem waiting to come out of practically every piece of rough in here. This is a GREAT value for the price and not to be missed! |
