Awesome lot of Paraiba Green to Lapis Blue Facet & Cab Grade Afghanite from Afghanistan. This is some unusual material that several clients have requested from us in the past; however, availability is very sporadic. The material overall in our opinion is cabbing grade; however, there are a few stones in the parcel that are VERY translucent and we have seen far more included stones faceted selling for an arm and a leg. We have never seen this material clean yet in either faceted stones or cabs and inclusions are to be expected. This is the only lot we have of this available and it is a trial run to see what market potential it has. This is a highly sought after stone and we are confident it will leave the connoisseur thoroughly pleased. I don't think anyone can do better on the price for this material! |
